Start with with a long walk down the tranquil Tennessee Valley trail. After a couple hours you’ll have quite an appetite which could be more than satisfied with some flapjacks or Belgian waffles at Toast. The natural thing to do once you are in the quaint downtown area would be to browse some local shops. Summer House has more inspiration for your home than you could possibly imagine, from unique furniture to vintage light bulbs to exotic pillows. After all this walking around in the beautiful sunshine, it’s probably time to pick yourself up a stylish summer hat from The Mill Valley Hat Box. Are you thirsty yet? Probably. Stroll on in to the Book Depot for a cup of coffee, pick up your favorite new novel to read outside on the sunny patio for a while. (Free wifi too!). Well now you’ll just have to come say hi to the girls at Carolina Boutique, as we are right across the street! Don’t leave town without picking up some bright pink peonies at our favorite flower shop, Mill Valley Flowers to give to your favorite local musician playing at the new Sweet Water Music Hall. Grab a night cap at the 2am Club if you just can’t bear to leave Mill Valley quite yet!
We wouldn’t blame you.
